K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of DirectShow filters, VFW / ACM codecs and tools. Codecs are needed and filters for encoding and decoding audio and video formats. Design K-Lite Codec Pack is easy to use solution for playing all your audio and Video files. Basic version contains all you need to play all video formats such as AVI, MKV, mp4, OGM, and FLV. This group is for those who like small packages.

The standard version contains some additional features compared with the baseline. Includes Media Player Classic, which is an excellent player for video files. He also has a support (better) for DVD playback, BC. This package is recommended for intermediate users.
