Do not use the modified PARAM.SFO file, it's unnecessary. Instead,
Replace the EBOOT.BIN from this release with the one from that link. Then, rename the movie files to not include "_US" in them. e.g. "staffroll_bad_US_movie.m2v" should be "staffroll_bad_movie.m2v".
After you do this, load the game with the latest Gaia Manager v1.03.1. Do not use Direct Boot. When you try to run the game, it will tell you the game requires firmware 3.50, and will ask if you want to force 3.41. Select yes, and run the game from XMB. Success!

Q: I ran the game and it got past the Dimps logo and went to a black screen.
A: Rename the movie files like I said! Remove "_US" from the file names.
